A business started in 2005, John Balcomb the owner, left another scooter shop (where he was manager), in an attempt to pursue his visions and take the Vespa and Lambretta world by storm........... He succeeded!

 With over 27 years of experience tuning scooters, John has ridden far and wide as well as having a well established reputation on the race track.

In the past four years, John has managed to bring scooter tuning back to the masses and put the south east of England back on the map. Working out of an Industrial complex in the surrounds of London Southend Airport.

With thousands of pounds worth of tooling and tuning equipment, Jb tuning also boast a 'Dynapro' Dynometer, which is nationally recognised as one of the best in it's kind. In the last 5 years, two stroke tuning has progressed at its fastest rate ever. It is common knowledge that this development is widely down to technology progression, and tuning sofware such as TZR as well as the likes of the dyno. Providing used by a skilled engineer/ technician.

Without years of experience, fresh ideas and a dyno, Jb Tuning could have ended up like other shops.....  left behind.

Thankfully we are at the heart of two stroke tuning for Vespa, Lambretta, Rotax, MZ and many others, and our Dyno work is recognised as professional and accurate and that is why we are used in various magazines for testing components, cylinder kits and exhaust systems.

Our Current workforce is now made up of four members of Staff and our business is constantly growing. Hopefully we can look after our customers over the internet like we do in the workshop.
